Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15.01.2026
This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data when you use our application "Slovoblood" (the "App").
1. Who we are
The App is operated by the developer ("we", "us", "our"). If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or your personal data, you can contact us at:
2. What data we process
We process only the data necessary to provide the App’s functionality:
- 2.1 Account data: Email address and User ID. This data is used to authenticate users and manage accounts.
- 2.2 User-generated content: Flashcards and decks created by you. This content is associated with your account and stored so the App can function as intended.
- 2.3 Subscription and purchase data: If you use a paid subscription, we process information related to your purchase status. Payments are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
3. Legal basis for processing
We process personal data solely on the basis of contractual necessity under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. This means your data is processed only to:
- Provide access to the App;
- Store and sync your content;
- Manage subscriptions.
We do not rely on user consent as a legal basis for core data processing.
4. Crash reporting
The App uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect information about app crashes to improve stability. Reports include technical information (device type, OS version) but do not include your personal content.
The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in maintaining a functional App. Users may disable crash reporting in the App settings.
5. Data processors and International Transfers
To operate the App, we use the following service providers:
- Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication, data storage, and crash reporting.
- RevenueCat, Inc. — subscription management.
International Transfers: These providers are located in the United States. We ensure that such transfers are protected by appropriate legal safeguards, primarily Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.
6. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as your account is active.
- User-generated content is stored until you delete it or delete your account.
- You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the App settings or by contacting us.
- When an account is deleted, data is removed or anonymized, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your rights under GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights:
- Right of access — request a copy of your personal data.
- Right to rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure — request deletion of your account and personal data.
- Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to restriction of processing — request that we temporarily limit the processing of your data.
- Right to lodge a complaint — you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority in your country of residence.
8. Children’s privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available in the App.
